Bonnie Glass (she/her) is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) currently practicing in Vermont. She is Integrative Practice Advisor & Clinical Supervisor, and Clinician at the Vermont Center for Resiliency. Her clinical practice primarily supports adults who seek services for grief, loss, trauma, violence, victimization, and transitions. Programming and supervision work are rooted in mentorship, creativity, innovation, and social justice values. Bonnie utilizes an integrative mind-body-spirit social work approach balanced with strengths-based, empowerment, psychodynamic, and narrative medicine perspectives. She is a certified yoga instructor and integrates mindfulness, yoga, and breathwork into aspects of her work. Bonnie is Lecturer at University of Vermont Department of Social Work where she teaches in both the Masters and Bachelors Social Work Programs. She is also Senior Lecturer at Columbia University School of Social Work (CSSW) where she has taught courses on Advanced Clinical Practice, Trauma, and Spirituality. She received a MS in Social Work from CSSW and a BA from Miami University (Ohio) with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminology.
Bonnie’s Social Work Practice is rooted in decades of service to New York City individuals and communities as program coordinator, supervisor, grant-writer, clinical therapist, clinical forensic specialist, crisis counselor, advocate, researcher, and consultant at a variety of multi-disciplinary agencies and institutions. Bonnie was research faculty and psychedelic psychotherapist in the NYU Cancer Anxiety Psilocybin Research Study, a project that strengthened her attention to Spirituality in clinical practice. Bonnie has been studying Dreamwork in Clinical Practice for almost twenty years and invites colleagues, clinicians, and clients to consider this curious topic. In addition to her role as social worker, Bonnie is also head coach of The University of Vermont Synchronized Skating Team.
Bonnie lives in Vermont with her family. When she is not wearing one of her many professional hats you can find her making coffee, talking about dreams, writing letters, and being as close to water as possible.
