Our Values
We recognize that healing is best accomplished within a climate of vulnerability and respect. We seek to minimize the potential for re-traumatization by providing collaborative, consistent, respectful, and empowered care. We value our community’s health and wholeness.
Identity Affirmation
We work with clients of all ages, gender, gender expression and identity, ethnicity, race, size, nation of origin, immigration status, sexual orientation, physical and mental abilities, religious beliefs, spiritual identities, and socioeconomic status.
We recognize that many mental health practices have a history of prejudice and discrimination and we are committed to continually educating ourselves and others about the mental health issues of a multicultural society. We recognize that an examination of personal privileges and biases and their impact on the therapeutic process is an integral part of providing the highest quality of care possible.
