Not currently accepting new clients
Maria (she/her) graduated with an MS in CMHC from Southern New Hampshire University in 2019. We all have our own path to walk and challenges to face, but we don’t need to be alone on our journey to meet challenges, heal and grow. Maria believes in the power of a therapist/client relationship based on non-judgment, trust, openness, compassion and support, and works to create a safe space where the client can feel safe and nourished through connection to another. Maria’s approached comes from a humanistic, person-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed perspective incorporating techniques from Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT, Neuroscience, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Maria’s work experiences include treatment of adults in both private practice and community mental health. Maria has run a NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups for six years. Maria has special interest in working with clients recovering from trauma. In addition, Maria has experience working with grief issues, anxiety, depression, and persistent mental illness. Maria welcomes all culturally diverse groups with sensitivity and acceptance.
When not in the office Maria spends time with friends and family, enjoys nature walks, loves cats and has fun cooking with her son.
Marie currently accepts BCBS, Cigna, and MVP insurance.
