Serena, received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago. 

Previous to starting at Vermont Center for Resiliency she worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Illinois and North Carolina. Serena has extensive background in working with adults who've experienced trauma, in particular sexual trauma. Her past work has included providing care to  those experiencing homelessness, adults with serious mental illness, and women and their reproductive health. She is trained in providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

She is also available to provide clinical supervision for social workers working towards licensure. 

Serena accepts most insurances.
